This shot of Ship St was taken aroiund the time of redevelopment and is taken from its junction with Nelson St looking down towards Garmoyle St. A look at the right hand side of the image shows debris where the houses in the upper part of the street have already been demolished. The actual street name was formally decommissioned a few years ago.

An unopened small bottle of dark rum bottled by Hunters of Dock Street in Sailortown back in the good old days when men were men and women rarely went into pubs This unique artefact is now the property of the Sailortown Society and hopefully is still unopened!!!!
